NBAF Jazz Vespers. Pianist Gary Motley will join the Atlanta Community Jazz Chorus under the direction of Dwight Andrews for a special jazz vespers service as a part of the National Black Arts Festival. The event will be held on Sunday, July 27^th at 3:00 PM. Click here for further info.

 

Friday Jazz w/ Victor Goines. Gary Motley joins saxophonist/clarinetist Victor Goines for an evening of swing at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art on August 15^th at 5:00 PM.

 

Jazz at Churchill Grounds. Hear pianist Gary Motley and his ensemble at the Whisper Room, Atlanta’s premier jazz listening room. Sets begin at 9:00 PM.

ROA Fall Jazz Vespers. Join pianist Gary Motley and vocalist Veronica Motley for the fall jazz vespers service at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 14^th at 5:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public. ROA is located at 5135 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, GA.

 

Majestic Piano CD Released. MCG Records announces the release of its latest solo piano project entitled Majestic Piano. The recording features the unique treatment of sacred hymns by pianist Gary Motley. Now available at MCG Records.

 

ROA Jazz Vespers CD Available. The ROA Jazz Vespers CD is now available for purchase. The recording features sacred standards and arrangements of many jazz favorites. The recording features Gary Motley and Veronica Motley with Gordon Vernick, E.J. Hughes, Neal Starkey, Clay Hulet and special guest Victor Goines.
