Jazz at Cape Canaveral. Pianist Gary Motley will join the Satcher family as they celebrate Mission Specialist Bobby Satcher's journey into space aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis. The STS-129 mission is set to launch on Monday, November 16th at 2:38 PM. Satcher (Motley's cousin) will be performing several spacewalks and even sharing some updates via his Twitter account Astro_Bones.

Jazz Comes to Canton. Hear the Gary Motley quintet in concert at the cherokee Arts Center in Canton, Georgia on Friday, November 6th at 7:00 PM. Artist reception to follow. For more information and tickets, contact the Cherokee Arts Council.

ROA Holiday Jazz Vespers. Join pianist Gary Motley and vocalist Veronica Motley as they host a holiday jazz vespers service at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church on Sunday December 13th at 5:30 PM. Located at 5135 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, Georgia, the event is free and open to the public.

ACJC Holiday Jazz Vespers. Gary Motley joins Dwight Andrews and the Atlanta Jazz Chorus for their holiday jazz vespers program on Saturday, December 12th at 7:00 PM. The program will be held at the Rialto Theater in Downtown Atlanta.

ROA Jazz Vespers CD Available. The ROA Jazz Vespers CD is available for purchase. The recording features sacred standards and arrangements of many jazz favorites. The recording features Gary Motley and Veronica Motley with Gordon Vernick, E.J. Hughes, Neal Starkey, Clay Hulet and special guest Victor Goines.
